广州特色工艺品"三雕一彩一绣"之骨雕

   广州牙雕工艺素以精细工整、玲珑剔透而闻名于世。明清时，象牙外贸集中在广州，广州牙雕规模居全国之冠。清末，广州牙雕业已蜚声海内外，皇城内牙雕匠多是广东人尤其是广州人。上世纪80年代末，国际禁止象牙贸易，有千年历史的广州牙雕技艺的传承者，牙雕大师们纷纷开拓思路，在骆驼骨和牛骨上继续找寻雕刻艺术的真谛。骨雕的原料主要是牦牛骨和水牛骨。骨雕与牙雕是姐妹工艺，在数千年的历史长河中，二者同时出现，制作技艺相同。牙雕具材质细密的优点，品位高雅；而骨雕则因其料质取材容易，材质价值相宜，其雕刻技艺与牙雕一样，同样可表现出精湛的技艺，立体、优美的艺术造型，近年牙雕大师们创作的骨雕作品深受海内外藏家欢迎和喜爱。
现更上一层楼，将艺术摆件提升为装置性壁画，与建筑装饰相结合。使建筑装饰艺术有了新的表现手法，骨雕艺术壁画既具有代表广州的手工技艺特点，展示其艺术特点，又能与现代建筑应用结合，用牙雕艺术去构建新岭南建筑。

骨雕艺术壁画的特点正如著名雕塑家潘鹤先生所评价：至广大尽精细。画面可根据实际放大，符合建筑装饰的特点。作品远观恢宏大气；近看精雕细琢，引人驻足。因牛骨经脱脂、打磨，颜色微黄，与象牙相仿，历数十年不变色；作品以传统入楔方式拼镶，故不易脱落。

骨雕艺术壁画应用与意义
•通过牛骨替代象牙，对保护濒临灭绝的非洲大象免遭滥杀，保护地球生态 平衡有积极意义。
•骨雕原料是经处理的牛骨，成本低，用象牙雕刻技艺进行加工，可使牙雕 这门高雅艺术走进千家万户。
•骨雕不受骨料体积局限，可以制成任意造型与规格，可与建筑设计和室内装饰完美结合

Guangzhou ivory carving is world famous for its fine neat and delicacy. During Ming and Qing Dynasties, Guangzhou was the center for ivory trade, and the scale of Guangzhou ivory carving ranked the first all around China. In the later Qing Dynasty, Guangzhou ivory carving industry has established an international reputation, and most of the ivory sculptors in the imperial city were from Guangdong Province, especially from Guangzhou City. On the end of 1980s, the ivory trade was banned worldwide. As the successors of the millennium-old tradition of Guangzhou ivory techniques, the ivory-carving artists started to explore new ideas to pursue the true meaning of art from camel and cow bones. The main materials for bone carving are yak bones and buffalo bones. Bone carving and ivory carving are sister techniques, they appear at the same period of the long history, and have the same technique. Ivory carving has fine material, and is of elegant characteristic; in contrast, the material of bone carving is easy to obtain, and the cost is reasonable, but bone carving may also display the exquisite technique, and three-dimensional, exquisite artistic modeling, and the bone carving works which made by the ivory carving artists are very popular with the collectors home and abroad in recent years.
